Registered Exporter and Good Exporter Programs

The Revenue Department offers special registration programs for exporters to accelerate VAT refund processing for VAT returns (Form Phor. Por. 30).

Key Benefits

Qualified exporters may receive VAT refunds within:

The processing period is counted from the date the Phor. Por. 30 return is filed. Approved benefits are granted for two years and may be renewed for an additional two years.

Eligibility Criteria

Good Exporter

  • A limited company or public limited company registered for VAT.
  • Paid-up registered capital of at least THB 10 million (except Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) exporters).
  • Export sales represent at least 70% of total sales during the 12 tax months preceding the application (or at least 50% for AEO exporters).

Registered Exporter

  • A limited company, public limited company, registered partnership, or individual business registered for VAT.
  • Export sales represent at least 50% of total sales during the 12 tax months preceding the application.

Common Requirements

Applicants must also:

  • In operation for at least three accounting periods/tax years.
  • Demonstrate business stability, continuity, financial credibility and own real property.
  • Maintain positive net assets for the latest accounting period/tax year immediately preceding the date of application.
  • Have a good tax compliance record with no evidence of tax avoidance.
  • Be a member of a trade association, private-sector organization, or operate within an industrial estate and be certified as conducting business normally.
  • Have no adverse financial information indicating insolvency.
  • Request VAT refunds through direct bank account transfer.
